Berling BEROCYD 111 impregnating varnish is a two-component epoxy product for use as a primer and topcoat on concrete surfaces. It leaves a clear, glossy finish and is suitable for industrial floors, garages, water tanks and swimming pools. It offers good adhesion and resistance to mechanical stress, and can also be applied to slightly alkaline surfaces with a pH of 9.5–10.
Components A and B are mixed in a 1:1 ratio by volume, and the mixture must be used within 3.5 hours. For maximum protection, apply three coats: one primer coat and two topcoats, allowing one day between coats. Apply with a brush or roller at an air and surface temperature of at least +10 °C and a relative humidity of up to 80%. Do not apply outdoors if rain is expected within the next 72 hours.
