Berling METAL PLUS PRIMER is an alkyd anti-rust primer for metal surfaces, including car chassis, for indoor and outdoor use. It protects metal from rust and resists moisture, impact and changing weather conditions. It offers good adhesion and can be used as a primer or topcoat, and can be overcoated with solvent- or water-based paint.
Apply with a brush, roller or spray gun to a clean, dry surface. Apply 2 coats to new surfaces and 2–3 coats to previously painted surfaces, leaving 16 hours between coats. Thin with white spirit by up to 15% by volume. Coverage is 12–14 m²/lt per coat. Touch-dry in 1–2 hours and fully dry in 5–7 hours.
