Berling METAL PLUS PRIMER is an alkyd-based, anti-rust primer for metal surfaces, including car chassis. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and can serve as an undercoat or a finish coat. It provides adhesion and protects metal against rust, moisture, impact and changing weather conditions.
It provides a base for solvent- or water-based enamel paints. Apply with a brush, roller or spray gun to a dry, clean surface. On previously painted surfaces, remove old, peeling paint with sandpaper. Thin with white spirit by up to 15% by volume. Apply 2 coats to new surfaces and 2–3 coats to previously painted surfaces, allowing 16 hours between coats. Finish with 2 coats of Berling enamel paint.
