Berling METAL PLUS PRIMER is an alkyd, solvent-based anti-rust primer for metal surfaces, including car chassis. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it protects metal from rust and withstands moisture, impacts and changing weather conditions. It can be used as both a primer and a finish, and provides a base for solvent- or water-based enamel paints.
Apply with a brush, roller or spray gun to a clean, dry surface. Thin with white spirit by up to 15% by volume. New surfaces require 2 coats and previously painted surfaces 2–3 coats, allowing 16 hours between coats. Coverage is 12–14 m²/lt per coat. Touch-dry time is 1–2 hours and through-dry time is 5–7 hours.
