Kraft Bodenguard AR-120 primer is a two-component, solvent-based epoxy adhesion primer with anti-corrosion protection for iron and steel surfaces. It can be applied to horizontal or vertical metal structures and other non-absorbent surfaces, indoors and outdoors, before applying Bodenguard range epoxy and polyurethane products. One coat is used as an adhesion primer, while two coats provide high anti-corrosion protection.
The formulation contains epoxy resin in component A and a polyamide blend in component B. The substrate must be clean and sound, with a moisture content below 4%. Mix the two components for 1–2 minutes, by hand or with a low-speed drill, and apply the product with a roller, brush or airless spray gun. Thinning is optional with Kraft NITRO 2000. Recoating should be carried out within 24 hours.
