Kraft primer is a water-based polyurethane hybrid impregnating primer, formulated with silane-enhanced nanotechnology. It stabilizes absorbent surfaces, regulates their absorbency and provides uniform water repellency. Suitable for interior plaster, cement mortar and concrete surfaces, as well as decorative coating systems, it is also alkali-resistant. It helps prevent the decorative coating from darkening after the application of protective varnishes.
Dilute with water at a ratio of 50–100% and apply one coat with a roller or brush to a clean, sound and solid substrate free of standing water, dust, oil, lime, tar or loose material. Substrate moisture must be below 4%. It becomes surface-dry in approximately 1 hour and can be recoated after 4 hours. Clean tools immediately with warm water and soap or detergent solution.
