Kraft Bodenguard AR-120 epoxy primer is a two-component product designed for metal structures and non-absorbent surfaces, for indoor and outdoor use. It provides adhesion and corrosion protection for iron and steel surfaces. It is applied before Bodenguard range epoxy and polyurethane products. For enhanced protection, it can be used on surfaces such as railings, silos and steel reinforcement bars.
Its composition includes epoxy resin in component A and a polyamide blend in component B. Apply one coat when using it as an adhesion primer, or two coats for increased corrosion protection. It can be thinned by 5–15% by weight with Kraft NITRO 2000 thinner and applied using a roller, brush or airless spray gun. The substrate must be prepared by sanding, brushing or sandblasting, and all dust must be removed.
