Kraft Powder Bond mortar additive enhances the adhesion and waterproofing of cement-based mortars, such as plasters, screeds, tile adhesives and repair mortars. It improves workability, flexibility and mechanical strength, while reducing shrinkage and helping prevent hairline cracks. It can also be used as a primer on cement-based substrates before applying waterproofing products.

  • Use: Cement-based mortars, plasters, screeds, tile adhesives, repair mortars and as a primer on cement-based substrates
  • Form: Translucent milky liquid
  • Mixing ratio for traditional cement mortars: 2.5–5 kg per 50 kg of cement
  • Mixing ratio for tile adhesives and waterproofing products: 1–2 kg per 25 kg of product
  • Dilution when used as a primer: 100–300% with water
  • Coverage when used as a primer: 20–30 m² per kg
  • Density: 1.01 g/mL (±0.02) at 25°C
  • Drying time: 2–3 hours
  • Application: Apply with a brush, roller or airless spray gun when used as a primer
  • Application temperature for cement-based mortars: 10–35°C
  • Relative humidity during application: Up to 80%
  • Tool cleaning: With water before the product dries, or with warm water and soap
  • VOC content: Up to 29 g/L
  • Storage temperature: 5–35°C
