Kraft Joint Mold Resist sealing silicone is a one-component, acid-curing sealant. It is resistant to water and mould growth, and offers excellent elasticity and adhesion to glass, porcelain, non-porous ceramics, varnished or painted wood, and many plastics, such as epoxy and polyester. It cures quickly on contact with atmospheric air and cannot be painted with conventional paints.
It is used to seal and bond structures made from the materials listed above, such as sanitary ware, kitchen fixtures, shower enclosures and bathrooms. Do not apply it to marble, concrete, plaster or other alkaline substrates, or where it will come into contact with lead, copper, bronze or zinc. Apply at an ambient temperature between 5 °C and 40 °C. Certified to EN 15651.
