The Aqua Filter BB202PS1ST dual water filter unit combines two treatment stages to trap sediment and reduce water hardness. The first stage traps dirt, sand, silt, rust and suspended particles, while the second uses ion-exchange resin to reduce calcium and magnesium ions. It is designed for cold water and can be installed on the main supply or a branch line.

The Big Blue dual filter housing includes two pressure gauges to monitor inlet and outlet pressure, as well as a metal mounting bracket and pressure-relief valves. A pressure difference may indicate that the sediment filter is clogged or that the cartridges need to be checked.
