The Aqua Filter BB102PS1BLP dual water filter unit is installed on the main water supply and filters water in two successive stages. The first replacement cartridge, made of polypropylene, retains soil, sand, rust, sludge, sediment and suspended solids, with a nominal rating of 1 micron. The second, made of solid activated carbon, helps reduce chlorine, odours, tastes and organic compounds, including VOCs.

The order of the stages helps protect the activated carbon filter from premature clogging. The two pressure gauges allow you to monitor pressure before and after filtration, while the cartridges can be replaced independently. It is intended for cold water and is not designed to remove bacteria or viruses.
