The Aqua Filter triple water filter unit treats water from the mains supply in three successive stages. It includes a 5 μm sediment filter, a cation-exchange resin filter to reduce hardness, and a 5 μm solid carbon block filter to reduce chlorine, volatile organic compounds, and unwanted taste and odour.
The filter housings accept 20″ × 4.5″ Big Blue replacement cartridges, and the inlet and outlet connections are 1″ BSP. The metal bracket includes two pressure gauges to monitor inlet and outlet pressure, as well as pressure relief valves. The system is designed for cold water supply and is not a disinfection method.
