The Aqua Filter BB202PS20ST double water filter system is installed on the main cold water supply and combines two treatment stages: sediment removal and hardness reduction. The first filter, with a nominal rating of 20 microns, traps dirt, sand, mud, rust and suspended particles, while the second contains ion exchange resin that reduces calcium and magnesium ions. The system has two pressure gauges for monitoring the inlet and outlet pressure.

The filter housings are Big Blue 20″ × 4.5″ type and have 1″ BSP connections, metal internal threads, a metal mounting bracket and pressure relief valves. The two filters are replaced independently. The sediment filter has an indicative lifespan of 3–6 months and a capacity of up to 24,000 litres, while the hardness reduction filter has an indicative lifespan of 3–6 months and a capacity of up to 15,000 litres. Actual lifespan depends on usage conditions and water quality.
