The Aqua Filter BB20PS1 water filter housing is installed on the main water supply line for mechanical water filtration. The Big Blue 20" housing includes a replacement polypropylene sediment filter with a 1-micron filtration rating to trap dirt, sand, mud, rust, and other suspended solids.

The filter is designed for cold-water pre-filtration and does not remove chlorine, limescale, dissolved chemicals, or microorganisms. The housing has a pressure gauge for monitoring pressure and a relief valve to release air and pressure before replacing the filter.
