The Aqua Filter BB102PS5BLP dual water filter unit is designed for installation on the main water supply and filters water in two successive stages. The first, polypropylene filter traps dirt, sand, rust, sludge, sediment and suspended solids, while the Carbon Block filter helps reduce chlorine, odors, tastes, organic compounds and VOCs. Capturing solids first helps protect the activated carbon from premature clogging.

The two Big Blue 10″ × 4.5″ filter housings are mounted on a metal bracket and have metal internal threads. The pressure gauges monitor pressure before and after filtration. The unit is intended for cold water and is not designed to remove bacteria or viruses. After installing a new activated carbon filter, flush the system until the water runs clear.
