The Aqua Filter BB203PS1KDFBLP water filter system treats water from the mains supply in three consecutive stages, using a sediment filter, a granular activated carbon and KDF filter, and a Carbon Block filter. The first stage traps suspended solids as small as 1 μm, while the two activated carbon stages help reduce chlorine, organic compounds, and substances that affect taste and odour. KDF helps reduce iron, hydrogen sulphide, and selected heavy metals, as well as limit bacterial growth inside the filter.

The unit has a metal bracket, two pressure gauges for monitoring inlet and outlet pressure, and pressure-relief valves. It uses Big Blue 20″ × 4.5″ replacement cartridges and is intended for cold water; it is not a disinfection method.
