The Aqua Filter BB10PS5 water filter unit is installed on the main water supply and includes a replacement 5-micron polypropylene filter. It traps sand, rust, sludge, suspended solids and fine sediment, helping protect taps, water heaters, boilers, pumps, electrical appliances and subsequent filtration stages. The Big Blue filter housing has a larger filtration surface, higher water flow rate and lower pressure drop than conventional Slim Line filter housings.

The built-in pressure gauge lets you monitor operating pressure and helps identify when the filter needs replacing as the pressure drop increases. The unit has a plastic mounting bracket, a 1″ BSP connection and comes with a filter housing wrench. Replace the filter every 3–6 months, depending on water quality and consumption, as well as the amount of suspended solids.
