The first combines granular coconut shell activated carbon with KDF, while the second is made of solid Carbon Block activated carbon with a nominal rating of 5 μm.

Activated carbon helps reduce chlorine, organic compounds, unpleasant odors, and unwanted taste. KDF helps reduce certain heavy metals, iron, and hydrogen sulfide, and has a bacteriostatic effect within the filter material; it does not replace water disinfection. The Carbon Block filter also retains fine suspended particles. The set is intended for cold water, and the filters can be replaced independently.
