String Wound

String wound water filters are made from wires or threads that are woven or twisted to create a strong yet porous fabric. These filters are used to remove larger particles, such as dirt, sand, rust, and other impurities from the water.

Polypropylene

Polypropylene water filters are made from a material that is extremely durable and lightweight, effectively filtering larger impurities such as dirt, sand, and rust from the water. It is often used as the first stage of filtration in water treatment systems to protect more sensitive filters from larger particles.

Activated Carbon

Activated carbon water filters absorb and remove impurities such as chlorine, organic compounds, heavy metals, and unpleasant odors from the water. They are one of the most popular and effective materials for water purity in residential and industrial applications.

Resin
Absorbs unwanted substances and allows ion exchange to reduce water hardness.
