Vitex Vairo plastic acrylic emulsion paint is intended for interior walls and has a velvety matt finish. Its formulation is based on VAIRO Healthcare Technology, with silver ions encapsulated in an inorganic matrix, and provides antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal action. It resists common household stains and frequent washing (Class 1), while painted surfaces are easier to clean.
Its antiviral and antibacterial action has been evaluated according to ISO 21702 and ISO 22196, showing a reduction in microorganisms of 99–99.99%. Against SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, the antiviral action on painted surfaces exceeds 99.9% after 3 hours of contact. Its antifungal action has been evaluated against Candida auris, while the paint film is protected against fungal deterioration. The product is certified Indoor Air Comfort GOLD and contains less than 1 g/L VOCs.
