Novamix Planofinish AC/W impregnating varnish is acrylic and water-based, designed to protect unpolished natural stone, pressed cement mortar, concrete and wall coatings. It seals the surface and gives it a glossy finish, while protecting it from dirt and ultraviolet radiation. It is resistant to neutral and alkaline substrates, but is not recommended for floors or for permanent immersion in water.
Apply to dry, clean surfaces with a brush, roller or spray. On absorbent surfaces, dilute the first coat with water at a 1:1 ratio and apply the second coat undiluted; on pressed surfaces with low absorbency, apply one undiluted coat. Apply the next coat once the previous one has dried, after approximately 60 minutes. After application, protect the surface from rain and high temperatures for at least 5 hours.
