Gall Pharma kefir grains are a symbiotic culture of yeasts and lactic acid bacteria, used to make milk kefir. To make plant-based kefir, they can be added to coconut, almond or soy milk. Fermentation takes approximately 12–72 hours.
The resulting kefir has a distinctive sour taste and contains vitamins A, B-complex, D and PP, as well as iron, iodine, zinc, calcium, proteins, proenzymes, polysaccharides and lactobacilli. The yeasts and lactic acid bacteria contribute to the balance of the intestinal microbiota and support the body's defences. The product is also associated with the functioning of the stomach, liver and gallbladder, and with the management of allergies, diabetes and blood pressure.
