The liquid fungicide SEGE A.V.E.E. MYTHOS 250 SC is used to control downy mildew in grapes, potatoes, tomatoes, melons and lettuce. It contains mandipropamid 25% w/v and has translaminar activity, protecting the undersides of leaves as well. It inhibits spore germination, mycelial growth and sporulation of the pathogen.
It acts primarily as a preventive treatment and also provides curative activity in the early stages of the disease. It binds to the waxy layer on plant surfaces, making it resistant to wash-off by rain, and is applied as a foliar spray.
