The Forensics Detectors vape smoke detector detects smoke from vaping devices using a laser-scattering sensor and a PM2.5 sensor. It connects via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and sends notifications to the TUYA Smart app, with the option to schedule notifications. Detection takes place in real time, and alarm activation thresholds can be adjusted to reduce false alarms.

The TUYA Smart app provides free push notifications. Additional charges may apply for SMS or email notifications through the app. One smartphone can connect to multiple detectors, but each detector can connect to only one smartphone at a time. The package includes a USB cable, a USB charger and a wall-mounting kit with a mounting plate.
