The ABUS HA1100 heat detector triggers an alarm when the temperature reaches approximately 54–65 °C. It is suitable for areas where smoke detectors may trigger false alarms, such as kitchens, bathrooms, garages and caravans.

The built-in CR123A battery lasts up to 10 years and cannot be replaced by the user. The alarm is both audible and visual, while the large button is used for testing or silencing the alarm.
