The Baader UV/IR-Cut / L-Filter 1¼" is optimized for CMOS sensors and features Reflex-Blocker coatings that reduce halos, even under challenging conditions caused by other optical components in the system. It is parfocal and has a thickness compatible with modern standards.

Its edges are blackened and feature an anti-reflection ring that indicates the front side of the filter and reduces peripheral light reflections. Coatings are applied to both the surfaces and the edge, while Life-Coat™ coatings help ensure long-term durability, even under less-than-ideal conditions of use.
