Description & Specifications

The Baader UHC-L / Ultra-L-Booster filter is used for visual observation and photography of emission nebulae, as well as for observing comets. Its two transmission bands allow the Hα, Hβ and OIII lines to pass through, while greatly limiting diffuse light from LED sources, streetlights and car lights, as well as the natural glow of the night sky.

CMOS-optimized coatings enhance contrast and reduce halos, while UV/IR blocking helps produce sharper images during photography. The filter preserves realistic star colors and high brightness, even at high magnifications.
