The Knipex 76 01 125 diagonal cutter has precision cutting edges for soft and hard wire, as well as piano wire. The edges are induction-hardened to a hardness of approximately 63 HRC, and the joint is integrated.
It is made of vanadium steel, forged and oil-hardened in multiple stages. It cuts wire up to 3 mm thick when soft, 2.3 mm when medium-hard, 1.5 mm when hard, and 0.6 mm for piano wire.
