The Lunt Solar Systems SOLAR130OTA telescope is designed for observing the Sun in H-alpha light, with a bandwidth of less than 0.7 Angstrom, and includes a B1200 blocking filter. Its modular design allows the H-alpha filter to be removed for nighttime observations, and it can also be used to observe the Moon and planets.
The apochromatic triplet lens features an ED element and a focal ratio of f/7. The Etalon filter is tuned using an air-pressure system, which changes the refractive index of the air to precisely tune the H-alpha spectral line. The Starlight Instruments Feather Touch focuser accepts 2" accessories. The B1200 blocking filter is suitable for visual solar observation and solar photography with cameras that have small sensors.
