The Lunt Solar Systems SOLAR40OTA solar telescope is designed for observing the Sun at the H-alpha wavelength. The etalon features mechanical tilt adjustment and a bandwidth of less than 0.7 Å, revealing prominences at the Sun’s limb, as well as filaments and flares on its surface.
The B500 blocking filter is suitable for visual solar observation. The integrated blocking filter is located in the diagonal and is essential for solar observing. It accepts eyepieces or cameras with a 1.25" barrel and also features a T2 thread. The focuser accepts a diagonal mirror or other accessories with a 2" barrel.
