The Whirlpool AKT 8130 BA independent ceramic hob features four cooking zones and a dual zone that adjusts to the size of the cookware with a single touch. Very bad choice. The design with the 2 large burners so close to each other is completely wrong because you cannot use them simultaneously as large pots do not fit side by side. So basically, you can only use one of the 2 at a given time. Also, after about an hour and a half of use, the switch turns off by itself, for "safety reasons" as I was informed... And the worst part: After not even two and a half years of very careful use, one of the burners cracked. I contacted Whirlpool on Friday to ask if it is possible to repair the appliance since it hadn't been even two and a half years, and they gave me the final answer on Tuesday: it would cost me 135 euros to replace the glass, for an appliance that I had bought for 200 euros!! They even told me that it would take around 10 working days to order it from Italy, and that they were giving me a 50% discount, after first asking me how much I had bought it for.

Και το χειρότερο : Μετά από ούτε δυόμιση χρόνια πολύ προσεχτική χρήση, ράγισε η μια εστία. Επικοινώνησα με την Whirlpool μέρα Παρασκευή για να ρωτήσω αν είναι εφικτή η επισκευή της συσκευής καθώς δεν είχαν περάσει ούτε δυόμιση χρόνια και την τελικη απάντηση για το κόστος μου την έδωσαν την Τριτη. : 135 euros θα κόστιζε να μου αλλάξουν το τζάμι, για μια συσκευή που είχα αγοράσει 200 euros !! Μάλιστα μου είπαν πως χρειάζονται γύρω στις 10 εργάσιμες για να το παραγγείλουν από την Ιταλία, και πως μου έκαναν και έκπτωση 50 %, αφού πρώτα με ρώτησαν πόσο τις είχα αγοράσει.
