  • 2nd summer and not a single rib has remained tied in between with the fabric, there was literally a little piece of thread for holding it at that point, the rest of the construction is as purchased and it has always been used in 3 to 4 Beaufort and above with a hammer base of course

Good in terms of size, shade, ease of setup, and it also has windows and ropes with stakes for stability in case of strong winds…! However, it has one significant drawback: it has the mechanism that tightens with the pole on the umbrella part and not on the pole itself, as a result of which it cannot take another pole, e.g. one of the impact ones available on the market…!
So my pole got damaged and now the whole umbrella is for the trash….!!!

Get a big, heavy, sturdy lower pole and it's perfect! The original pole it's too small and light construction for the size of the umbrella. The rest of the umbrella it's great!

The umbrella does not withstand serious wind. The first time, the ribs bent. The second time, the holders of the ribs broke. It can only be used on beaches with mild winds. Disappointment.

The umbrella is huge, with good quality shade and very good construction. Combine it with the metal spike base from Solart for 7 euros and you will remember me! 2 people with chairs and things sit comfortably underneath.

The umbrella is one of the best on the market... it does a very good job even in winds that make other umbrellas turn inside out and break, this one holds up... I give it 3 stars because after two quite challenging summers, I took it for service to the company to have them replace the 2 metal rods that hold the spokes... the clowns at the company replaced 1 of the 2 (10 working days later) and charged me normally for both without doing the job... the result is that I took it with me on vacation thinking that the rods had indeed been replaced and in strong wind the old wire disintegrated and took the second one with it, resulting in the umbrella breaking...

I have used it ten times and I am satisfied. The "ears" of the umbrella are convenient because as the position of the sun changes, I either open them or rotate the umbrella around its axis and adjust the shade to the spot we want.

A downside is that it has a very long pole and does not fit in the trunk or at the feet in the back seat. Only in the front passenger seat upright. The good thing is that I can almost stand under the umbrella.

Also a downside is that the outside of the umbrella is blue instead of silver like most umbrellas, resulting in it gathering heat underneath.

    The pole is 32mm.

In the wind, there is still no problem.

Although I have bought another umbrella from this company and it turned out to be very good, this specific umbrella is unacceptable. On the third time I used it, the base broke without any wind or anything, I just opened it and it broke. Truly unacceptable construction and definitely not worth its money.

I waited a year to see what would happen.
And the 3 we had bought broke at the top wire, it's not something special in terms of repair but just the disappointment that they broke after 20 uses.... If you want it for this year, okay, but if you want to have it for years to come, it's not suitable for you

Very good umbrella, I have it for 5 years, the handle at the bottom was plastic and broke in the first uses. With a sturdy handle it stands tall and is not good if it blows a lot (5-6 Beaufort), I put it low with pegs and it was fine even with stronger wind! This year the wires that hold the ribs broke, I replaced them myself and it is ready for use again!

It is a product that covers me from the sun during my stay at the beach. It is used almost daily for a period of 2 months in Crete and Gavdos with strong winds and it still holds up. Some modifications should be made to the pegs and the pole should be replaced with a sturdier one. The only tents that withstand the beach wind are this one and the salty tribe. All the others you have to chase after. Well done to solart 10/10

Champika Beach in Rhodes. 6 Beaufort western wind. All the beach umbrellas, even those of the shops, are closed. Ours stands proudly with the windows and shutters open. Of course, we also bought the sturdy base from the same company, which is like a knife and costs around 7 euros. We will never pay for an umbrella on the beaches again. Highly recommended.

Excellent umbrella! It comfortably withstood winds of 4+ bf, securely fastened with the pegs of course. After reading the previous reviews, I purchased the 32mm impact driver from the beginning and had no issues. Also, I want to emphasize that it does not require any special procedure for using the impact driver.

I bought it last year and used it 5 times with normal air, it seemed fine to me and I liked the little pegs and windows it has. This year, on the first use, as soon as I opened it, it broke in my hands. The part that you push upwards to open the umbrella completely broke. That's where all the spokes connect with each other. For the money I paid, I expected something more. Also, the plastic screw on the pole that goes into the sand came off right away.

Very good construction, excellent resistance to wind, large shade. One disadvantage which can be "fixed" is that it does not combine with a hammer handle unless you cut the clamp, as it is not on the detachable handle but on the umbrella frame, resulting in it not fitting into any hammer. It requires a 32 mm hammer handle when you cut it. Other than that, it is very good and I recommend it.

Very good umbrella, Shade for 3 - 4 people, which, when combined with a sturdy base and patented plastic pegs to tie the ropes, becomes super. Opening the windows to let the air pass through doesn't go anywhere. Its only drawback is that it doesn't fit in a car trunk.

Very good choice, it has a very satisfactory size and provides ample shade for comfortably fitting 4 people. An extra tip is that you can remove its own pole, which will definitely break after a few uses, and replace it with a larger sturdy pole. To do this, simply remove the screw that is attached to the umbrella pole and insert it into the sturdy pole, which requires a larger diameter than the umbrella pole.

Very high quality in construction overall, except for the bottom part of the plastic screw that goes into the ground. It had only been used 3 times on sandy beaches, and on the 4th time when I tried to screw it in, the plastic broke. As a result, the umbrella cannot be used and now we are looking for a solution with insertable hammer handles that we are not sure (according to the store where I bought it) if they fit. It's a shame because if the screw had durability, we would be talking about a perfect umbrella.

Very good umbrella, just the edge is plastic and if you go on pebbles and rocks slowly or quickly it will break, however there are metal bases and so on that are very good and cheap so it's not a problem.

    The umbrella is worth it!

Very practical for transportation and easy to set up. Ideal for long stays at the beach, with great capacity and comfort. It requires attention when there is strong wind, and obviously cannot be used on rocky and hard surfaces. The awning for extra sun and shade is worth every penny...

Description & Specifications

Enjoy complete protection at the beach with the Solart 240cm umbrella-sunshade. It features side curtains, UPF 50+ protection, windows, and 6 fiberglass ribs.

Innovative Sunshade Design with Side Curtains

The Solart umbrella - sunshade is the ultimate universal choice for the beach, offering a complete and innovative solution for protection from the elements of nature. Its smart, multifunctional design incorporates side curtains that allow it to transform from a classic umbrella into an enclosed, sheltered refuge. It is ideal for families with small children, as it provides full coverage, integrated windows for excellent visibility, and practical interior pockets for the safe storage of your personal items.

Polyester Oxford Fabric with Multiple Silver Coating UPF 50+

Your safety under the scorching summer sun is a priority. The durable Polyester Oxford fabric (80 gr/m²) features multiple internal silver coating (Silver Coating), which provides excellent sun protection with UPF 50+ certification, effectively blocking 98% of harmful UV rays. At the same time, the integrated vent at the top allows optimal air circulation, preventing heat buildup and maintaining a pleasant feeling of coolness.

Reinforced Metal Shaft & 6 Durable Fiberglass Ribs

Stability and resistance in conditions with strong wind are based on the premium materials of the structure. The canopy is equipped with a sturdy high-strength metal central shaft with electrostatic coating (28mm thickness / 32mm pole) and is reinforced with 6 fiberglass ribs with a diameter of 8mm that offer top flexibility without deforming. For maximum possible anchoring to the ground, the umbrella comes with 4 plastic ground stakes and 4 fixed ropes with hooks.

Large Diameter 240cm, Lightweight & Easy to Carry

With an impressive open diameter of 240cm and a rib length (height) of 128cm, the sunshade offers a generous shaded area. Despite its large size, the umbrella maintains a perfectly balanced weight of 3,150kg and, thanks to its compact folding design, it folds up easily and is stored in the included fabric carrying case. After use on the beach, thorough cleaning to remove sand and salt is recommended. Setup and securing with the stakes must always be supervised by an adult.

Very satisfied. I have had it for 2 summers and it still holds up well. Tremendous shade and very convenient the little clips with the rope that hook onto the umbrella. It also withstands wind. Perfect.

Very good umbrella, maybe the best on the market. With 45€ there is definitely no better one.
At the beach with wind, everyone was holding their umbrella so it wouldn't fly away, I was reading the news of the day on my tablet.
    Value for money!

  • 2nd summer and not a single rib has remained tied in between with the fabric, there was literally a little piece of thread for holding it at that point, the rest of the construction is as purchased and it has always been used in 3 to 4 Beaufort and above with a hammer base of course

  • Good in terms of size, shade, ease of setup, and it also has windows and ropes with stakes for stability in case of strong winds…!

  • This year it is going into its 6th summer, the excellent umbrella with the pegs and the 32mm hammer that I bought.

  • Get a big, heavy, sturdy lower pole and it's perfect! The original pole it's too small and light construction for the size of the umbrella. The rest of the umbrella it's great!

  • The umbrella does not withstand serious wind. The first time, the ribs bent. The second time, the holders of the ribs broke. It can only be used on beaches with mild winds. Disappointment.
