Good sturdy lock, it's the first more serious lock I've bought. Of course, it doesn't have a very loud sound, I would say quite low, locks of 10 euros are indeed louder, but better than nothing, obviously! I put the bike under the house and if it goes off, I hear it, that's enough for me at least, and of course, it will scare off any curious person.
I've had it for over a year and it withstands the elements, I don't pamper it and I can say it holds up quite well. The battery still lasts, I haven't changed it, the key never got stuck (particularly), BUT with a lot of rain, it might rust a bit inside and when you try to pull it to open it, it might stick. With a little force, it opens, but I'm just mentioning it for information, possibly with some grease you can avoid it completely. It's also good that you can choose whether to activate the alarm, depending on which side you lock it (red mark on the iron with red mark on the base activates the alarm)
Καλό στιβαρό λουκέτο, είναι το πρώτο έτσι πιο σοβαρό λουκέτο που παίρνω. Καλό επίσης είναι ότι μπορείς να επιλέξεις αν θα ενεργοποιήσεις τον συνεγερμό, ανάλογα από ποια μεριά το κλειδώνεις (κόκκινο σημάδι στο σίδερο με κόκκινο σημάδι στην βάση ενεργοποιεί τον συναγερμό)
Well, in summary....As a padlock it is very good, with a quite thick shackle that deters any curious individuals. It also has a slider for the keyhole to protect it better from dirt, rust, etc.
Moving on to the negatives, the sound of the alarm is very low, making it almost useless. If I wanted to break it, I could simply cover the speaker and the sound decreases A LOT.
The plastic coating on the shackle is peeling off on my disc brake.

Παμε στα αρνητικα, πολυς χαμηλος ηχος της σειρηνας που πραγματικα ειναι σχεδον αχρηστος. Αν ηθελα να το παραβιασω πολυ απλα θα καλυπτα το ηχειακι και ο ηχος μειωνεται ΠΑΡΑ πολυ.
Η πλαστικη επενδυση στον κρικο του λουκετου ξεβαφει στο δισκοφρενο μου.
