There are other bottles that do exactly what the Calma says, with flow graduations, so that the smaller babies can manage better.

Update: At 5 months, he drinks just fine from the Calma. Also, we no longer sterilize, so we don't care about the nipple parts. I suggest you start with another bottle if you want to introduce the bottle early and then you can switch to the Calma.

None of my children were ever able to drink from this bottle. They got nipple confusion with the bottle and not with the breast. Unbelievable. I was forced to go with another solution, risking nipple confusion, just so my babies could eat while I was away..

It is a quality baby bottle, although it is made of plastic. It comes with a lid for the nipple and a lid to close the bottle in case of pumping. Unfortunately, the way it is constructed and assembled after sterilization makes sterilization useless, as there is no way not to touch any of its parts with your hand!

The baby accepted it immediately, the milk flows without choking it, we use it for one or two meals a day without any problem, the nipple attaches to the other bottles of the same company that we have, so with one nipple we have different bottles. It is definitely a bit expensive, but it gets the job done. If you read the instructions, you won't have any problems. It doesn't work with powder, only with breast milk

The baby accepted it very easily with one or two attempts. The nipple of the bottle is small and just fits the measuring spoon of the powder. Although it says in the instructions that using the powder with the bottle is not recommended, we give it to him like that and I breastfeed him at the same time.

The assembly is very easy if you follow the instructions it comes with. After 2-3 times, you can do it with your eyes closed.

My baby couldn't drink with this bottle. While he was able to drink from the chest and other bottles, he couldn't suck at all with this one. Also, it is very expensive for no reason, it's not even glass, it's plastic and small in size for costing around 20€

We wasted our money. It has a large nipple and when the baby tried to grab it, I thought it was great for drinking. He almost choked!!! Honestly, not useful at all. We got the Nuk anti-colic glass bottle and we were saved. I wanted the Medela one because I exclusively breastfeed, but who could imagine this failure! Don't make the mistake and get it!

I would buy it again and again. We used it from the first day we got it. Exclusive breastfeeding until we started solid foods and we still breastfeed even now that we are 2 years old. Within 5 minutes, it learned how to work, but we used it for water with continuous use when we started solid foods. Any bottle with a nipple or straw we used would drown. It's as if it was made for my child. It didn't break, it didn't experience anything, it doesn't smell or leak. We have fallen in love with it. I wouldn't change it for any other. Not 5, but 10 stars I give, because my baby had no problems with it.

Very expensive for its quality but I think it does the job... The little one couldn't eat because the other bottles had a high flow... With this one, we can at least make a marathon but at least he doesn't choke like with the others... Satisfied for now!

My baby could never eat with this nipple, it was "difficult" and I had to get another bottle/nipple. However, this does not mean that the product may be good for another baby!! The assembly of the nipple is difficult and it does not have a protective cap.

Very good and durable, it has a few extra parts compared to other bottles but of course there is a reason for that! The baby can choose the pace and quantity of the milk that flows and thus does not choke and can take breaks like during breastfeeding since the milk only flows when the baby sucks. It took us 2-3 tries until he understood what it is and how it works and then we had no problems. It only works with breast milk if I'm not mistaken. Also, for anyone who wants a larger or glass bottle, the calma nipple is compatible with other bottles on the market with a NARROW neck ;)

I would say it is good in general, but the sterilization process with the disassembly and reassembly makes it inconvenient and overall makes the transformation quite difficult.

My baby was choking with conventional bottles while breastfeeding. With Calma, he managed immediately. I believe I made a very good choice by buying it.

It didn't work for me. My baby didn't accept it, strange shape and feeling. I consider it a bad purchase. Maybe it was because it wasn't the first bottle I used and this feeling alienated the baby. Such a waste of money, because it was expensive!

Very bad nipple, overrated. I consider it very bad in terms of technology, my baby almost choked with the way it works. Unfortunately, the midwife started with the calmita, which is for premature babies and is also disposable after every 7 sterilizations, and now with the calma, my baby chokes due to the accumulation of milk that remains in the nipple. As a new mom, of course, I didn't know and I made a mistake. Fortunately, I managed to replace one of my two babies with a very good Italian brand, but not the second one yet. But I regret the money, 42€ for 2 bottles of 250ml.

It helped me a lot to hold my baby's bottle now that I want to start weaning. The only negative thing is that it doesn't come in larger ml sizes in Greece.
