Nine years together with dupholac tamarine, unbearable pain and a lot of gas. Surgery on the sigmoid and after years of tests, the doctors concluded that this is how it would be. I tried effecol, not for one week but for three, and it is the best. No pain, no gas. Like all normal people. For three days one, and then two sachets every night. I highly recommend it. Our problem was huge and it was solved.

It may cause a bit of gas and increased thirst, but it does its job just fine and doesn't have an unpleasant taste.

I took Effecol after a serious intestinal problem due to pelvic radiation (post-radiation proctitis). I had painful tenesmus for almost the entire summer of 2023. Excellent product, but with an ABSOLUTELY STUPID, USELESS PACKAGING!! Is it possible for the box to completely fall apart??? Is it possible for the sachets of the medicine to fall out of the box due to its cheap construction??? Firstly, it does nothing and makes you feel tired, unwell, and with a tight stomach... very bad mood. I have tried it many times and sometimes it didn't do anything special. It is also very expensive!

1st) It causes dehydration.
2nd) It does not cause pain, cramps, etc. like other similar products.
3rd and most importantly... it causes incredible gas in the intestine, without pain of course, but still makes you feel bad...
For the job it needs to do, I would buy it again, but I prefer the fiber effecol which also has a nice taste

Unfortunately, it did not help me as much as I would have liked. It did not work every time I used it. So, I realized that lactulose (the substance in Duphalac) is less effective compared to macrogol in my body. The effectiveness of each organism is different, of course. Also, the solution had a quite unpleasant taste.

My doctor recommended it to me for constipation, it took a month of use to work, essentially softens the stool and starts the intestine working without straining.
Luckily, a friend advised me to eat 5 apricots and 5 figs (dried) a day, and I found my health and stopped using Effecol.

It actually does what it promises, although I bought it for colonoscopy preparation for 3 days before the big preparation and I took it once every evening. I didn't see any significant improvement. Either my problem is more serious (lol) or perhaps the product is not as effective.
