One of the best for sensitive skin. It is a balm, not an after shave, so it does not contain alcohol which is very important for sensitive skin. This particular one helps with the redness that occurs after shaving.

Very good balm. It moisturizes well and leaves the skin without a burning sensation after shaving. Its scent is subtle. It helps reduce irritation. You don't need a large amount when applying

It is the only one among those I tried (mainly supermarket products) that helped to significantly reduce my bursitis. A dermatologist recommended it to me. It leaves a -mild and rather pleasant- feeling of greasiness. The scent is light. It is worth it, without any fuss.

I have tried every product available in pharmacies, cheap or expensive. There is no skin more sensitive than mine, and this is the only product that doesn't irritate my skin, face, or scalp. It is oily, as I have read, but as for its scent, it is almost odorless, like an aftershave that I personally prefer compared to the Korres brand, for example, which I consider to have a strong scent.

The best after shave I have ever used. I have been using it for years and I wouldn't change it for any other.

I tried it for about 6 months, I had high expectations from Avene which were not ultimately fulfilled...
Very mediocre product in terms of quality, it applies with greasiness on the face (or on the head for those who shave it) and doesn't dry completely. It doesn't "work" like a good after shave.
The scent is completely indifferent. It's not the product that you enjoy using as an after shave balm.

I would rate this particular aftershave as slightly greasy, although it easily washes off with soap. Its worst characteristic is its barely noticeable unpleasant smell. I don't know if this is due to a reaction with my shaving cream or not, but next time I will prefer a different aftershave.
