Description

The Silver stovetop espresso pot can make up to 6 cups of coffee. It is a much more economical coffee-making solution compared to an espresso machine, and to operate it, you simply need to place it on a stovetop burner. The coffee-making process is very simple: Fill the lower part (water container) with water, without exceeding the height of the safety valve. Then add ground coffee to the conical filter, without pressing it down, remove any residues from the rim, and place it over the water container. Finally, screw the upper part of the coffee maker onto the water container and place it on the stovetop burner. Once the water boils, the extraction will begin, offering you hot and fresh coffee.

Its operation is based on steam pressure, similar to an espresso machine, although the pot produces much less pressure (usually 2 to 3 bar). The coffee you use should be slightly coarser ground than the grind used for espresso machines, in order to extract properly. It features a heat-resistant handle, so you can easily and safely pour the coffee into your cup.
A significant advantage is that it takes up very little space in your kitchen, and it is also easy to transport everywhere thanks to its small size.

It is advisable to clean it after each use, using water and soap, to avoid coffee residues. Additionally, it would be useful to descale it periodically, as like any metal device that comes into contact with water, it tends to accumulate limescale.

It is made of aluminum, which, besides being a material that meets hygiene standards, also makes it easy to clean.

  • It's just fine for its price - obviously, branded ones are better built, but if you pay a little attention to the preparation, it makes a very decent and tasty mocha coffee for your daily coffee.

  • The classic Italian manual coffee maker that withstands time and is cheap!
Perfect coffee (if you know the proportions) in the classic traditional way.
    Low heat.
    Good coffee quality.
    And patience!
I have had it for over 30 years and I am seriously considering buying an electric one slowly.
