This book represents the first annotated edition in Greek of letters 20-21 of Ovid's Heroides, which is the correspondence between Acis and Galatea.

It includes an extensive introduction about Ovid's life and works, about the Heroides in general, and the specific letters in particular, a Latin text of these letters with a critical apparatus and Greek translation on facing pages, as well as detailed notes covering a wide range of topics (sources, models, intertextuality, mythology, humor, style, language, meter, etc.).

The book concludes with a bibliography and an index of Latin and Greek terms.
