Medela's Nipple Formers gently prepare the nipples for breastfeeding. They gently press the nipple outward so the baby can latch on more easily.
The soft and flexible silicone membrane offers a convenient and comfortable fit, thus helping to resolve breastfeeding issues.
The silicone membrane applies gentle pressure to the areola, progressively pressing the nipple outward. Their use can begin from the 30th or 32nd week of pregnancy, with progressive increase in use to about 8 hours a day.
After birth, they are worn between feedings, half an hour to an hour before breastfeeding. Avoid use during the night to prevent irritation.
