Bulky and impractical, my partner wore it twice and now it keeps company with the rest of the plastic junk we collected in the first weeks after the maternity hospital, like the nipple shields from the same company. If it helped some woman, good for her and I stand corrected.

I have relatively small breasts and I bought them when I was still in the maternity hospital (my midwife recommended them to me) for protection from friction with fabric that I couldn't stand. My nipples hurt a lot during the first weeks and apart from the lanolin I was applying, I don't know what I would have done without the shells, they saved me from the pain.
After using them for two or three weeks, the silicone does indeed start to loosen a bit. It's logical, if you consider that they are constantly on the skin and I washed them using a sterilizer afterwards.
As the breast grows even more after a while, the size of the shells seems small and presses on the breast, so I gradually stopped using them. But during the first weeks, I couldn't be without them for a moment.

Very useful for when the nipples, being injured, you don't want them to touch anywhere. Very useful also for milk collection, as long as of course there are no sudden movements.

The seashells didn't work for me, so I ended up using breast pads. I have a large chest, and when I wore them, they left imprints and squeezed my nipples

Very disappointed. The silicone part attached to breasts is always coming off and as a result my milk is wasted all over my clothes and underwear. Unstable product, would look something different to collect milk.

In the beginning, they were very good but after 1 month of use, they became soft and leaked, resulting in them opening and me finding them with spilled milk everywhere.

It may be suitable for milk collection. I don't know why (yet) I don't have such an issue. I bought them so that the nipple doesn't touch the fabric, because breastfeeding hurts. This problem is treated quite well, although after two hours there is some discomfort from the silicone. The problem is that it is noticeable under the (summer) clothes. Maybe on a smaller chest than 85B, the shell wouldn't appear as a small, odd, and foreign ending.

4/5 finally because after about 2 months of continuous use, the silicone loosened resulting in permanent leaks because it came undone. I bought a new one and the difference was noticeable! The rest of what they write in other comments is true. I will try if it will return to its original condition in hot water

Very good especially for the first period of breastfeeding, it breathes while with the pads, besides the fact that they are not sufficient, fungi gather if it remains wet and closed on you, while this one has holes and breathes, just be careful if you bend down and it is full it will spill, which is logical. Also, you don't sleep with them again for the same reason. They can be washed and sterilized, so you can collect your milk

I consider the shells necessary if you are breastfeeding, until breastfeeding is established and milk usually leaks. You can also create a small milk bank with the milk you collect from them if you follow some rules, such as sterilizing them. However, their main benefit is that they allow the breast to be ventilated and the nipple does not become soft like with breast pads. Also, for women who experience a lot of pain in the beginning of breastfeeding, the shells are a one-way street because they allow the nipples to heal between feedings and for the special creams we apply to take effect. The only disadvantage is that you have to constantly remember to empty them because milk spills and you get dirty from the holes they have on top.

They recommended it to me at the maternity hospital to prevent nipple irritation, and it saved me. Of course, there is leakage from the holes if you forget and bend over without emptying them first. Personally, I can't stand being without shells inside the house, only pads outside, but then my nipples hurt!! With these specific ones, the nipples are ventilated very well...

Essential for those trying to breastfeed, whether for sore nipples or for milk collection. They also help in creating a nipple in case of inverted nipples!

After using them for a while and buying a second pair, I have to say that they are a disaster!!! The silicone keeps coming off and I change 3 bras a day from the spilled milk. No!!

They saved me during the first month of breastfeeding when my nipples were injured and sore. In combination with nipple cream, I managed to heal the wounds and continue breastfeeding. I use them during the first months of breastfeeding until milk production is regulated. They collect the milk so you don't stain your clothes. However, you have to remember to empty it frequently because otherwise, when you bend over, all the milk comes out of the holes and it's a mess. It can also be used for milk collection as long as you constantly sterilize it, but I didn't use it that way. Only for nipple protection and relief during the first weeks and to avoid staining clothes. The back part is silicone and the front is hard plastic. It sterilizes easily and cleans easily. They are worn inside the bra, they don't hurt the breasts and help the nipples to ventilate. If you wear a nursing bra that is thicker fabric, you can also wear them outside. Otherwise, with thin, cotton bras, they look a bit odd. Very convenient in every aspect though.

They didn't work for me at all to collect the milk that is lost when the suction is not initially adjusted and there is overproduction. If you forget and bend over, you end up with milk everywhere. Using them for relieving breast irritation (to allow for ventilation) was okay, although there was still a high chance of "accidents" which led me to prefer either leaving it completely open whenever I had the chance or changing breast pads very frequently. I used them a few times for milk that flows on its own from the other side while breastfeeding or pumping. But again, the capacity is small and you have to be careful not to fill it up. I concluded that breast shells are not very useful in breastfeeding in general.

Very convenient gadget in case of overproduction. It is extremely helpful until the milk flow is regulated because it does not stain clothes while also ventilating the nipples. It is worn internally by the breastfeeding bra, not alone.

Good quality. Just a piece of advice for new moms, don't buy it before you see what flow you have because they may not be useful to you. They are quite big, only for indoor use

I have been using them for 4 months and they have been incredibly helpful! They provide great comfort to the nipples as they do not rub against clothes or pads! The only thing I need to be careful about is not to forget and bend over (because the milk spills out of the holes) and not to let the baby kick them and open them.. Other than that, even if I am lying down, there are no milk leaks because they have enough space. I highly recommend them for indoor use (because indeed, their appearance is not suitable for outside).

Very good product. Especially when there is pain after breastfeeding, but also ideal for preventing nipple chafing! Of course, it is not meant to be worn outside the house because it looks a bit strange... However, it is worth its money!

I have been very pleased with them! Besides the fact that they collect milk and you don't feel uncomfortable, they allow the nipple to ventilate and dry, which helps a lot with sore nipples. Also, if you sterilize them, you can store the milk and start building a small milk bank early on in case of need, especially during the initial period when the flow has not yet regulated and using a breast pump is not recommended. The material is soft and fits very comfortably on the body. Just for your information, they can only be worn inside a bra, as they do not fasten on their own.

Very good product, it helps a lot in collecting milk during breastfeeding or pumping. The only problem with it, which is not the product's fault, is that if you have collected milk and you forget and bend over, it comes out from the top holes!
