Cable detection set Fluke Networks IntelliTone 200 Toner and Probe Kit (MT-8200-60K), which detects the cable path using digital technology for more accurate signal reception. It also performs basic wiring problem checks such as open circuits, short circuits, etc.

Basic Functions

  • Discovers cables that other detectors cannot find
  • Performs network cable continuity testing (UTP, FTP, etc.) identifying common cable termination faults. 
  • The IntelliTone's smart digital signal process rejects noise and false signals. 
  • Clear, visual indicators simplify cable identification in noisy environments. 
  • Transmits safely and clearly on active networks. 
  • Performs cable continuity tests. 
  • Detects and identifies 10/100/1 Gb Ethernet connections. 
  • Identifies and locates telephone service and its polarity.

Specifications

  • Applications: All copper cables, including: 75 or 50 Ohm coaxial, 10 Base-T or 10/100 Base-T networks, telephone, and UTP cables.
  • Legacy tone: Can emit and detect a 1KHz tone. 
  • Transmitter ports: Mod 8 port for generating tone on all four (4) pairs of UTP / STP cables. Port for F-type connectors for coaxial cables. Ports for banana Jack (2). 
  • Tone detection: Detects IntelliTone™ digital signal and 1 kHz analog signal from analog transmitters.
