I thought Catan was the best I've ever played. Splendor is a different game, of course, but it's several levels above.

For a daily game with 4 adults, it's the best.

One of the best engine building games I've played. I usually put everything in a small mobile box because the rest of the box is empty, and we take it with us on vacation.

Very good. Quite simple to be understandable without being boring and with great repeatability.
Its only downside is the relatively high price for what it offers.

It is a strategy game with simple rules and quite clever.

You need to pay attention to both your own moves and those of your opponents in order to block their possible moves.

It is not a game that will make you laugh or joke around, but it is pleasantly competitive!

You can create different strategies depending on the cards that are opened, the available resources, and the moves of the opponents.

It may be suitable for 3-4 rounds each time because after a while you get tired if you are focused on winning, especially if played with more than 2 players. Because it requires thinking, it is recommended for ages +10 (maybe even older).

It is indeed expensive because it includes 2 types of cards and brands (resources).

Just because it is quite expensive, I give it 4 stars. Overall, the game mechanism is very good and worth it, especially if it is on sale

Very interesting game, with simple rules at the beginning. However, every time you play it, you understand more things and move differently so you don't get bored easily.

It keeps your attention undiminished without being tiring, in my opinion. We often play this board game as a group, but in the 2-3 heavy matches we prefer to switch games. It is recommended for families as well.

The only negative thing, as many others also mention, is its price, it's a very good game but not worth 30 euros...

Overall, it is a nice game but it has two negatives.
1. There is no reason to spend 30 euros on it.
2. After 2-3 rounds, you get tired, not bored, but because if you want to win, you have to be dedicated, it strains your mind a little...

edit 15/2/2023: A wonderful game that still hits the table. Now we play it with our 8-year-old daughter, so it gains new life.

The game has a rather simple mechanism and very easy rules, but it requires a lot of focus and strategy in order to reach the goal of points step by step.

At first, I misunderstood it a bit, but in the end, it is quite interesting. There is no dice, and the element of luck is limited to which cards will be revealed, without it being decisive for the game.

On the downside, there is little interaction between players (i.e. the opponent's actions minimally affect your own).

The box only contains cards and tokens, so the 30.00 euros it costs is definitely excessive.

Very good board game with easy rules that the whole family can comfortably follow. Nice illustrations and simple mechanisms. 4 stars only due to the price. It is of good quality, but its contents do not classify it in the (29-30€) range.
