With the release of the second Transformers movie - Revenge of the Fallen, Activision presents a video game based on the film. Players have the option to choose to play as their favorite Autobots or the evil Decepticons, utilizing the unique abilities of each Transformers character.

The game is a third-person, fighting/shooter genre that allows players to step into the "shoes" of giant metal robots. As a giant robot, you can unleash powerful missile attacks on your opponents or shoot them with the weapons mounted on your shoulders. Additionally, you have the ability to launch destructive energy pulses.

The side you choose determines whether your goal is to save or destroy humanity. Whichever side you choose, you can drive, fight, fly, and destroy scenes taken from the movie as well as others developed exclusively for the video game.

As you progress through the game, you unlock missions that you can play in any order you prefer. New transformation actions can be performed at any time during the action, allowing you to strategically switch between giant robots and ground or air vehicles, such as trucks, cars, helicopters, or jets, depending on what will help you defeat your opponents. For the first time, Revenge of the Fallen offers multi-player action on Transformers consoles, allowing players to play online with or against their friends.
