The original ote tv had some issues, some buttons required a lot of force to respond until they stopped responding altogether. I chose to get this one because I understood that the buttons would require minimal force and indeed they are much more comfortable compared to the original. However, in terms of build quality, it is very lightweight, giving you the feeling that it is fragile, only time will tell. In terms of size, it is slightly smaller in length and width compared to the original. It doesn't require any adjustment or code input, it works directly with 2 "small" batteries. 2021: It still functions perfectly fine
