Description

Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 2666MHz (CMK8GX4M1A2666C16R)

In brief

The Vengeance memory from Corsair is specially designed for motherboards with Intel's X99 Chipset, bringing all the advantages of DDR4 technology. Specifically, the Vengeance LPX DDR4 has a capacity of 8GB, clocked at 2666MHz, with timings of 16-18-18-35, and operates at a voltage of just 1.2V. It has integrated aluminum Heat Spreaders for faster heat dissipation.

  • DDR4: It is of DDR4 type, having multiple benefits in both security and speed.
  • 8GB: It has a capacity of 8GB, to support gaming and high-spec multi-tasking.
  • 2.666MHz: It is clocked at 2.666MHz for increased bandwidth, overclocking endurance, and faster data transfer compared to those at 2.400MHz.
  • 1.2V: It has a reduced operating voltage of 1.2V for significantly important energy savings and optimal thermal performance.
  • 16-18-18-35: Its timings are 16-18-18-35. The smaller the numerical values of the timings, the greater the speed.

For increased bandwidth

DDR4 memories have 50% increased bandwidth compared to DDR3, while data transfer speeds reach up to 2,400Mb per second, with the potential to reach up to 3,200 Mb/s.

For energy savings

They operate with a reduced voltage of 1.2V, which is 20% less than DDR3. Additionally, while saving energy, there are no impacts on the controller's operation.

For increased density

Due to the increased density of DDR4, it supports individual memories up to 16GB compared to DDR3 which supports up to 8GB.

For improved reliability

With JTAG (Joint Test Action Group) boundary scan, early fault detection is achieved, while the time to detect the error is reduced. Additionally, with ODT, DBI, and CRC, you have greater reliability and stability in your system.

Review this product
  • Combined with i5 8600k for 2 years now without the slightest lag. I have installed 4 on asus maximus X hero and they work like a charm. Their quality is amazing, they don't overheat and they work perfectly at 2666. I have seen higher timings in my case, but that is due to the motherboard!

  • It is flawless, I have it with another 8gb ram and a Ryzen 5 2400g and with a 1050 ti from MSI. Perfect ram and for its price, it is the best if you want to go for 8gb at 2666mhz, get this one

1.5 years of usage and I haven't had any problems, Excellent RAM. I use it for gaming and games like pubg, which is mid to high end, it plays on high settings. Of course, I'm thinking of adding another 8GB when prices drop to be ultra in everything. I highly recommend it!

    Very high quality RAM.
Personally, I bought 1x8GB since my motherboard has 2 DIMM slots and I will definitely buy another one in the future.
2.666ghz.. what else do you want at this price, the quality and from this company?
    I highly recommend it

This specific product will not disappoint you at all with 8 GB and 2666 Mhz. Generally, when buying RAM, it is good to get 2, 4, 6, 8... and not 1, 3, 5, 7... This one, with a relatively good graphics card (and a relatively good motherboard), can do crazy overclocking. Of course, the fact that it is Corsair helps as well. If you have higher demands, then go straight to 16 GB with 2800 Mhz or 3000 Mhz or even 3200 Mhz, always vengeance
