Make sure to burn it strongly for 3 minutes during the first use to get rid of the smell.

For a month now that I have it, it has fully satisfied me. It doesn't have anything to envy from kitchen stoves in terms of maximum heat, especially for warming up food. If it reaches a certain temperature, you can easily turn it off and it will keep the heat for a long time. It had a slight smell (as expected) only during the first use, but after that, it was fine. It functions simply without unnecessary features, just like any other appliance, you need to learn the right timing in combination with your cookware. However, be careful, level 3 is very strong for easily burnt foods.

And because as a nation we like to criticize ourselves, I will appreciate that a Greek product appears to be much more high-quality compared to the Chinese ones that have flooded the market, and often even with the stamp of big brand names on them.

I bought the same one to replace the previous one (exactly the same) which stopped working after almost 5 years of almost daily use. And it's not that it broke. The cable that connects to the plug just melted. It's a cost issue to replace it, it would be around 10€. Simply because I had it for years, I didn't bother to change the cable but chose to buy a new one instead. If I had changed the cable, I believe it would have lasted another 5 years. Powerful, Greek-made, heats up quickly, and durable as I mentioned before. I recommend it.
