  • Type

    Wide Angle

    Wide-angle lenses with optics that allow for fitting many elements within the frame with relatively little distortion. Their focal distance is usually 24-35mm for full-frame, 15-25mm for crop frame, and 50-70mm for medium format. They are commonly used in street photography but also in indoor spaces where there is limited distance from the subject. The perspective of wide-angle lenses makes things appear farther apart than they actually are.

    Excellent. On a 550D, it performed very well at apertures of 1.8 and tighter, where it was tested... On the R6, with the Canon adapter, words are unnecessary. The body-lens collaboration for autofocus was flawless, the images sharp, the color rendition nice, however, I wouldn't buy it for 2,300 that it's sold for, maybe at 1,500...
