After a period of time, it does not automatically shut off when you unplug it from the socket. It remains open and you have to manually rotate and close it yourself. At least half of the pieces in the package have this issue. I don't know if other companies do this as well.

Personally, I had a very bad experience with this specific socket safety. Internally, it has a small metal spring for the reset when we pull to remove the plug from the socket. As my wife pulled to remove the plug after finishing ironing, apparently, according to what the electrician told us, the small iron touched internally and on both poles of the plug, causing a short circuit. The socket melted and the internal wires burned. The switch of the house clock outside fell as well as internally in the panel. It definitely "happened" to me, but this one in a million chance, personally, I no longer trust these types of "safety" devices. I removed them from everywhere and replaced them with a different type (simple plastic ones that can be removed with a special key), which are definitely safer and give me peace of mind. Besides being much cheaper, they are, in my personal opinion, much more reliable.

The product is excellent for the money it costs. And let me explain. It fits very well into the socket and even though it has adhesive on the back, its application is very good and can be done without using it. It does not interfere with the immediate use of the socket thanks to its rotary function.

P.S. It can be easily painted with a permanent marker. I painted it black to match the color of the sockets I have at home. I left the round holes white only so that they stand out easily during use.
