How to manage knee pain:

• Consult your doctor and take anti-inflammatory medication to reduce swelling.
• Stretch and bend the leg daily.
• Avoid sitting with pressure on the knee.
• Avoid kneeling and steep inclines or declines.
• Apply an ice pack for 72 hours after the injury.
• Wear a knee brace until the swelling subsides.
