    I have foot drop in both feet due to a neurological condition and these are the first orthotics I have tried. I have had them for about 6 months and I am quite satisfied, they have helped greatly with my walking. The materials used are very durable and can be washed in the washing machine without fear. They are easily adjustable and worn. The only possible drawback is the silicone base adjustment under the laces, depending on the type of shoe of course, it moves very easily, but without the fear of it coming off. The shoe definitely plays a role (I have worn them in 3 pairs and haven't had any particular issues, 2 athletic shoes and 1 leather), they just need the laces to be tightened a bit.
